KARATE X FOCUSED
We proudly present the first three skateboard decks from our collaboration with our homie Jeroen van Sluis of Karate Woodshop. Jeroen runs his skateboard wood shop in the city center of Rotterdam, where he combines great craftsmanship and fun in every handmade skateboard that leaves his shop. With our shared passion for skateboarding, woodworking, and respect for the wellbeing of our planet, it was only a matter of time for this collaboration to happen.
MATERIAL
These limited edition boards are made out of 6 plies of carefully selected Hard Maple veneers (Acer Saccharum) and one outer ply of recycled skateboards. The Hard Maple veneers come from trees that are responsibly forested in the Great Lply of ake regions of North America and Canada. These veneers are stacked and cold pressed with an Eco-friendly PVAc- glue (D3) to guarantee optimal flex, pop and strength. The recycled skateboard veneer is handmade by Focused and consists of 11 thrashed skateboards. These once discarded old boards are now ready to get gripped and ripped again. All made in Rotterdam with love for the skateboard community!
